The Sport Medicine Council of Alberta (SMCA) along with the Town of Beaumont are co-hosting the 2010 Sport Health Conference. This two day event will take place on Saturday October 2 and Sunday October 3 in Beaumont, Alberta. The conference is designed for coaches, athletes, parents and volunteers in recreation and sport. Sessions will focus on Athletic Injury Management; Sport Nutrition; Sport Concussions; Sport Psychology and Sport Taping & Strapping. SMCA certification is attained in the Athletic Injury Management and Sport Nutrition courses. Lunch is included both days along with an active break lead by local fitness experts.
